Ok well here's the update. We just got back las night at 7:30 pm from Copperas Cove and we found out yesterday morning that we got the job!!! We are both very excited and grateful to God for pulling all of this off for us. Ok... lemme start from the beginning:

We came in on wed morning and it was a really good trip as far as we didn't get lost or anything and we made fairly decent time. So when we got there we dropped our stuff off at the hotel and then went to the Real Estate office to get keys to look at some houses. I was very hopeful until I saw the first house. It was REALLY ugly. The outside was very deceiving. But on the inside there were dead cockroaches on the floor. I was like EEEEK! let's go boys! So we headed to look at the next house and it was equally hideous. There was a HUGE big scary china cabinet looking thingy in the dining room and each room had a different kind of scary flooring (none of which was carpet). It was awful. We had the keys to one more house to look at so we started trying to hunt it down but we got lost and then I was like this must be God steering us away. I don't want to look at the house! no sir! so we turned around and took the keys back to the real estate company.


At this point we went ahead and skedaddled on over to the church to get ready for the youth service. The youth service went fabulous! You could really feel the spirit of God moving. We were pretty excited afterwards, as we both felt it went pretty well. We ate pizza after the youth service and this guy who is a member at their church came up to Rene and asked him if we'd found a place to live yet. Rene told him about the houses we'd looked at but that we hadn't found anywhere yet. So the man told Rene that he and his wife own a house here just a couple of miles from the church. It was in our price range and everything so he asked us if we wanted to go see the house after church. We went and as soon as I saw it i was like WOW, but it only got better. When we went in i was pretty excited. The kitchen was fabulous, and there is a den, and a fireplace. Plus there's a deck on the back. It's REALLY nice. So the only catch with the house is that the man said he'd have to leave it on the market to sell while we're living there. So Rene told him the only way we'd consider renting is if he gave us 6 months guaranteed (to give us time to come up w/ the down payment) or if they would do a rent to own thing with us. The man said he'd have to talk to his wife first.

SOOOO, basically I'd like for everyone to pray that we can lease to own this house b/c it's the house of my dreams. Anywayzz we're both pretty excited about all the good news. Plus God also blessed us w/ some extra money that we weren't expecting! God is so good! We're celebrating God's greatness right now!!!!! Celebrate with us!!!!!!
