I’m really excited to give a report on what’s going on in my life right now. As you guys already know we got the job in Copperas Cove for the Youth Pastors position. We are pretty thrilled about that but we serve a God that always goes above and beyond so not only did we get our dream job but Monday we signed a year’s lease to live in the most beautiful house I’ve ever lived in. During the year we signed the lease for, we are going to save up the money to put down to buy the house. God is totally showering us with blessings right now. Our family was struggling financially for a little while and I fervently prayed and asked God to calm the sea of troubles that were coming our way. Little did I know God was building my faith and strengthening my trust in Him. So God has really been blessing us financially here lately. We’ve been able to more than catch up on bills and so we’re just basking in Thanksgiving to the King of Kings. I’m just so in awe of His holy power.
The 16th is my last day at my job. This weekend and the beginning of next week I plan on doing a “spring cleaning” on our house (the one we currently live in) and pack our bags for Virginia. On Wednesday morning our plane is leaving from DFW @ 7:45am. This is where I need y’all’s prayer for sure b/c Rene is SOOOOO not a morning person. He is quite possibly the whiniest (is that a word?) person in the world early in the morning. Anyways, I’m TOTALLY looking forward to spending Thanksgiving in Virginia and FINALLY getting to meet my awesome in-laws. They are so sweet to me on the phone and stuff I know we’re all going to click perfectly. We won’t be back until the 26th, so when we get back home we’ve basically got 4 days to pack our stuff and the movers are coming to move us to Copperas Cove on the 1st!!!!! How exciting (and tiring) does all that sound. Makes me wanna take a vacation and let someone else do all the work. Lol…. No really I’m thrilled about all this. I’m looking forward to settling into our new (beautiful) home and putting the Christmas tree up. Oh and btw in case anyone was wondering we WILL be coming home for Christmas!
Here are some pics (they don't do it any justice, really) of our new house:
